Intriguing New Play to be premiered in Holmfirth

‘Kittiwakes’ Roost’, a new play by Kate Griffin, directed by John Ablett and performed by the Threshold Players with the Pamela Keily Players, will begin a short run at Holmfirth Methodist Church on Friday 20th October.

The drama unfolds over the course of a weekend creative writing workshop in 'Kittiwakes’ Roost', a house perched on a cliff top overlooking the sea.  The workshops are run by two sisters, Rowan and Angela, who own the house.  With  four participants booked in and an acclaimed popular poet joining them as guest workshop leader,  what could go possibly go wrong?  Their joint creative undertakings will strip away the layers of pretence and artifice revealing that nothing is quite how they imagined it to be.

'Kittiwakes' Roost' is premiering at Holmfirth Methodist Church on Friday 20th October  at 7.30pm, with additional performances on Saturday 21 October, at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.  Tickets £5 each, payable at the door.
